All 25 Guest Judges, Ranked by Forgiveness

From the House Dad (most forgiving) to the Housemaid (least forgiving). An unofficial ranking with strategic implications.

If you know your case is borderline, the guest judge in Seat 5 can be the difference between CERTIFIED VIBE and VIBE CRIME. The 25 guest judges are not interchangeable — they have distinct personalities, distinct reasoning styles, and very different views on what constitutes acceptable behaviour.

The court presents the following unofficial ranking, from most forgiving to least. This is based on historical verdict distributions. The court takes no responsibility for gaming strategies that still result in Crime verdicts. Ozzy is watching regardless.

Most forgiving (Leans VIBE)

1
🍺 The House Dad
Just wants everyone to get along. Has never met a situation a sandwich couldn't help. Default: Vibe.
LEANS VIBE
2
🎮 The Gamer
Votes Vibe on anything that demonstrates strategic thinking or efficiency. Low drama = Vibe. High drama = Crime.
LEANS VIBE
3
🪩 The Socialite
If it has good optics or narrative value, it's a Vibe. Power moves dressed as accidents: always Vibe.
LEANS VIBE
4
🙄 The Teenage Girl
Perceptive about authenticity. If you were being real, it's probably a Vibe. Cringe, however, is irreversible.
LEANS VIBE
5
🚀 The Silicon Valley VC
Votes Vibe on anything that optimises for an outcome. Did you maximise the value? Vibe. Did you leave value on the table? Crime.
LEANS VIBE

Contested territory (Could go either way)

6
📱 The Millennial
Self-aware about being tired. Usually extends benefit of the doubt on effort-related failures. Less forgiving on cruelty.

7
🛋️ Dr. Chen
Warm but precise. Will vote Vibe if there's self-awareness. Will vote Crime if you're repeating a pattern without noticing.
CONTESTED
8
🎭 The Theatre Kid
Commitment = Vibe. Half-measures = Crime. If you went for it fully, you'll probably get a pass.
CONTESTED
9
🤖 The AI
Genuinely tries to be fair. But has never issued a clean verdict in its life. Will always find a caveat. Neutral in practice.
CONTESTED
10
⚖️ The Corporate Lawyer
Analyses liability. If your action created exposure, Crime. If it was defensible, Vibe. Logic-driven and slightly cold.

Least forgiving (Leans CRIME)

21
📰 The Journalist
Asks who benefits. If the answer could be you at someone else's expense, Crime. Ozzy respects them enormously.
LEANS CRIME
22
👁️ The Reddit Mod
Has seen everything. Is tired. Votes Crime for anything low-effort or inconsiderate of others' experience.
LEANS CRIME
23
🧑‍🍳 The Chef
Half-measures are Crime. Always. Did you commit? No? Crime. The dish required commitment and you served something lukewarm.
LEANS CRIME
24
😤 The Boomer
Back in their day you didn't do that. Crime. Back in their day you did the thing properly. Crime that you didn't.
LEANS CRIME
25
🧹 The Housemaid
Has seen things. Notes things. Does not forget things. The most reliably Crime-voting guest on the rotation.
LEANS CRIME

A note on gaming the court

The court acknowledges that this ranking enables strategic guest judge selection during re-deliberation. The retry function lets you swap in any of the 25 guests after a verdict. In theory, you could run the same case with the House Dad (most forgiving) if the Housemaid (least forgiving) gave you a Crime on first submission.

The court has no strong feelings about this. Riley, however, notes that the original verdict stands on the record. Ozzy notes that she would say that.

⚖ Ozzy's Note on This Ranking
CONTESTED

"The ranking is accurate. The intent behind publishing it is the real question. Who benefits from users knowing which judges are easiest to game? I have filed a note. I am watching the pattern."
